Some here may know that I enjoy all my critters (except Coyotes). Lately a bear has been dropping by to say hello (and tear down my brid feeders).
A bear kinda does what ever it wants to.
I put up a motion activated sprinkler; he saw it as a nice shower.
I put up an electric fence with .1 Joules. This is similiar to a dog collar. I have been using these for years with great success guarding my deck feeders from coons and possums.
Bears can raid a hornets nest, so this did not discourage him.
I have upped my game to one that can move 2 Joules through 50 miles. My fence is about 50ft.
Will this encourage him to go up the road to my neighbor's feeders?
