    INCREDIBLE PREDATOR - fishing

There are 3 sequences in this one video:

1st sequence he catches half a dozen fish in one strike.

2nd sequence he plunges talons into deep water right to the
    bottom to grab his prey.

3rd sequence he captures a big old fat fish that looks as if
it weighs more than he does!

This is incredible to watch (best viewed in full screen
    mode)...enjoy!

    That was amazing!

We have a shitload of Osprey's around here. It's hilarious to see them flying with a fish pointed into the wind (more aerodynamic, I guess~).

They are here on the lake. You just can't look away from them. They hover like a helicopter, and then just fall into the water. Here is a photo of one who made the news this week by building a nest on the tower that sucks up water for Clemson here on Lake Hartwell

People think I am a bird guy, and from time to time some neighbor or their visitors report proudly they have seen an Eagle. Most times they saw this "Fish Hawk". We do have Eagles here.
Telling them apart is easy. If you think you saw an Eagle --> you saw an Osprey.
When you see an Eagle, there is no doubt.

It is the same for a Downy Woodpecker and a Hairy Woodpecker which people have trouble with.

Water birds are fun. A similar acting bird as the Osprey is the Tern. I can spend all afternoon on the dock watching one work and never be bored. I have read that Herons can dive and swim after fish, but I never seen that. Gulls also hit the water for food, but the Tern and Osprey do it with abandon by crashing, not scooping.
I am the only guy in a tie
