I am the only guy in a tie
I see last year got on the porch on the 20th:
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Pine Warbler
Yellow-throated Viero
Hope springs eternal.
---- Life is good ----
My first observed migrant just breached the yard.
A female American RedStart is taking a bath in my branch.
..another showed, not calling it yet
I am the only guy in a tie
Junior Redstart has showed. I am hoping for Pop.
Great photos and a very nice treat to see the Redstarts! We don't see them very often. I remember when I first saw a male on one of our hikes, we did not know what it was and someone said it looks like a Baltimore Oriole because of the colors. Of course the Orioles are not in our range.
Tried to do a quick look, but not possible as I have over 22,000 digital photos.
When I hit the Lotto will hire some teen to catalog them for me.
I take a lot, delete most, still end up with some.
I do see this from 2005 taken with my old point and shoot camera here in the yard.
I would guess it to be an Orchard Oriole.
On the porch and see nothing migrating by.
I have maybe 5 Hummers left.
My yard is full of Cardinals. They seem to do really well here.
