    RED-SHOULDERED HAWK

    Not a perfect photo but here is a Red-shouldered Hawk on our fence in Clayton this afternoon.

    Good fun! That is the hawk I see most.
    They are not much danger to birds. They perch low and look for movement on the ground.

    Yes, his back was to the feeders and he was looking over our pasture for mice and chipmunks probably.
    A friend of mine said that a hawk caught one of her husbands drones out of the air! LOL
