    Bird rescue

Today, I had another bird collide with our front window. I heard the thud and went outside and found it with its wings spread out and a little quivering. I took AO's advice and put it into a box and covered it and put it into the garage for about 30 minutes and then checked and it looked normal so I placed it on the ground but it would not fly so I waited and watched from about 20 ft. away and it finally was able to fly away.

I need help to ID the bird. When the wings were spread, the back was greenish yellow - more green than yellow. Thought at first that it was a yellow warbler but?? here is the photo after I took it out of the box.

Could that be a Blue-winged Warbler?
Maps show those not here, but as we live on the BR flyway, all birds visit.

I will get my books out tomorrow when back in the house, but for now going with that.

Good bird sighting and good photo.
