No official polls (Coach's) should be out until at least October.
This week's is out and I would like to say it means nothing, but it does.
This has influence. To that end it should be on what teams have accomplished, not what is believed they might accomplish.

After two weeks we have:

1 Alabama (59) 1
2 Clemson (3) 2
3 Georgia 3
4 Ohio State (1) 4
5 Oklahoma 5
6 Wisconsin 6
7 Auburn 7
8 Notre Dame 8
9 Stanford 9
10 Penn State 10
11 Virginia Tech 14
12 Washington 11
13 LSU 15
14 TCU 16
15 West Virginia 17
16 Mississippi State 18
17 Boise State 19
18 UCF 20
19 Oklahoma State 23
20 Miami 21
21 USC 12
22 Michigan 22
23 Oregon NR
24 Michigan State 13
25 Arizona State NR

How should this poll look?
I have no interest to figure it out, but a lot more like this:

1 - Auburn
2 - Notre Dame
3 - VT
4 - Sanford
5 - Georgia
6 - LSU
7 - --- basically any team that has beaten a ranked team followed by any team that has beaten a Power Five Team or a conference team. The flaw there is no teams should be ranked yet. This poll should not be out yet as their is little info.

Good examples would be AS just beat MS, but are ranked lower because they were not ranked and MS was ranked high. This is bull crap. Early polls are a beauty contest.

Washington, Miami, Michigan, USC, etc still ranked after losses just because they were placed artificially high.

This important poll should not be released until at least October.
There are dozens of fun polls that can and should come out every week of the year, but not this one as the FF sees this one as the real one.
