Experts are out with this today, and they might be right (even though in the last hundred seasons they were wrong).

15) Josh Jackson, Virginia Tech
14) Brian Lewerke, Michigan State
13) Alex Hornibrook, Wisconsin
12) Jake Bentley, South Carolina
11) Jake Browning, Washington
10) Jake Fromm, Georgia
9) Justin Herbert, Oregon
8) Ryan Finley, NC State
7) Drew Lock, Missouri
6) Jarrett Stidham, Auburn
5) Tua Tagovailoa, Alabama
4) Khalil Tate, Arizona
3) McKenzie Milton, UCF
2) Trace McSorley, Penn State
1) Will Grier, West Virginia

My list would be different and based on previous achievement. That approach is also colored as some QBs play on a solid offense and some don't. Some have to "go it alone".
Go back a few years and look at Philip Rivers (NCS) and Woodrow Dantzler (CU) needing huge shoulders, but got the job done with less help.

My preseason list would start out:
- 1) Jalen Hurts - Alabama
- 2) Jake Fromm - Georgia
- 3) Kelly Brant - Clemson

All those guys did was do "what ever" needed to take their teams to the FF.
It is true they played on great teams, but they did not fuck it up. All these QBs put up decent stats and won big time which is the stat that counts.

It is amusing that the media claims all are in jeopardy of loosing their job.
