Had our first Hummer today(April 1st) in Toccoa! Gonna start adding feeders gradually. He is probably not alone but I haven't noticed any fighting yet.

The reason yall have early HBs and mine arrive later is simple.
Yall have those illegals immigrants from farther north, and all mine are locals who have been on vacation in Panama.

I had a couple in early April but they moved on and now I am still not seeing any. I am changing the sugar solution often to keep it fresh. I just put in about an inch or so until they start coming in numbers. Anybody else seeing any?

I have a few at Dusk and Dawn.
These days they are breeding. The adults will be searching for bugs all day.
Late Summer the entire families will show up at the feeders.

Right now Hummers may be the most abundant bird in my yard. They are not just at the feeders, but zipping around everywhere.
They don't just need sugar water, still picking off small insects.
