    Pine

I now have 3 Pine Warblers. I understand that is not many, but the difference out here is amazing compared to when I just had one.

I still have only a dozen Chipping Sparrows, but the Gold Finch, Purple Finch, and House Finch are showing. Pine Siskins are also here.

My favorite bird changes daily and tends to be the one entertaining me.
In Winter I most look forward to my Pine Warblers arriving. They jump around near my chair like I am not here.
For the past years, numbers declined from a few to a couple.
I am happy to report this year a good group of about a dozen made it to me.

At my feeder they eat suet and peanuts. They will nibble on shelled sunflower seed.
There is not a second they are not jumping around. They are a very entertaining backyard bird. Their plumage is all over the place, almost like being different species.
