I don't often see a bird I have not seen in the yard before. There are many I have yet to discover, but they are not "feeder birds". As I am a lazy porch sitter, just don't see or search for them. I am over 120 discoveries in my yard, so my way is not too bad.

I go almost into panic mode when I see one whom I rarely see, and completely flip out if it is one I have never seen. I don't trust my eye IDs and that is why photos are important to me.

Today I saw a Least Flycatcher. I had no idea, thought it was my Eastern Peewee. I got the camera and snapped a poor photo just as it flew. It was a lucky shot through the window.
