For the last hour have had a friend on the porch.
He is a big white Pit Bull.
He must like Christmas music.

He keeps putting his big head in my lap and wanting to climb up in the chair. (too big).
We have bonded, and he don't want to go home in this rain.

He lives up the road about a 1/2 mile.

This is a fun Christmas.

Dogs are great 'ambassadors'. When an elderly couple moved into the house next to us ~3 years ago, I was working in the garage for several hours and finally realized I had not seen our dog Apollo for about the last hour. He had wandered over to their garage where the Mrs. was busy unpacking stuff (her husband is pretty much an invalid..). They had become fast friends over the course of an hour or so and she was not sure who he belonged to, but I saw him in their garage as I went out into the street to see where he had gone off to. She now leaves Apollo her old "flat" tennis balls in a can on our sidewalk steps from time to time and Apollo just loves playing with them. He goes over there whenever he can and visits with her. I love dogs...
