Saying good bye to a friend old or new

Most know I have quite a few pets here in the house, and about 6 months ago, I lost my mischievous cat Sugar to a tumor. It was then that my cousin, who I had never met, asked me to foster his cats Sugar and Tommy. I gladly did.

Sugar showed signs of a possible tooth infection and although she was eating well, she stopped eating yesterday, so we took her to the vet today, and sadly, it was so much more than a tooth. She had leukemia and went into acute and chronic kidney failure this morning. My son is with her as we speak while she is put to rest to play with other great family members that I guess needed some company.

Although she was a foster, and had been here for such a short time, she was family - more family than others have been.

Max is already showing signs of mourning of his friend too.

So for all of us who may have lost a furry family member...they are now playign together and getting in lots of trouble, I am sure.

Sorry to hear this. It's always tough to have to let go of a furred friend.

    My condolences.
