    Snapper

This is the first Summer with my Branch pond. It is coming along OK, water lilies are breaking the top. It is a small pond, about 150 gallons.
The past week a Snapping Turtle showed up in it about 6 inches. That was cool:lemo:. The next day he was gone, but showed up in my big pond. Now that he dived in, don't think he can get out. I don't mind him there, but he serves no purpose as Snappers seldom appear to be viewed.

Getting him out would be tough. At this point he is too small to eat my fish. I could try a trap, but it is easy to drown turtles that way, and I have others turtles in there.
It is all very interesting to me.

I'd worry about him eating your other wildlife in the pool. Goodbye giant bullfrog~
