I know; right? It's astounding how fast they can move through soil! I remember my father & I trying to out-dig them with a shovel in our garden.

Moles are good for the yard, wish I had a bunch. They can make a lawn unsightly, but I don't have a lawn.
Moles eat grubs and things you don't want.
They don't eat roots, those are Voles, which I don't like.
