American Redstart

This might be a common bird for many here, but I live just barley in the Summer breeding range here in the Blue Ridge foothills.

It was exciting as they seemed to be fighting on top of a big elephant ear. I did not get a photo, but I will be ready next time.
These guys eat just insects, so they do not come to feeders. They are very high strung and active, always in constant motion. They almost fall into the range of a fly catcher.
