I have pond rats. The pond is 17 years old, never saw this before. Make no mistake, I know what goes on out here over those happy years.
I caught a the big one in a trap and moved it up the river.
There are 3 more, and they will not go in the trap. I caught a skunk and a cat in the trap, no rats. Rats are smart.
They know I feed the fish/turtles. When I do they come out to eat. They are water rats and swim perfectly well. I am looking at 2 right now. They are cute, but I don't want them here.
I could easily shoot them if I still had my pellet pistol, but I can't do that, not wired that way.
It is a problem to think on.
