Nice photos. I take a pic of the day and send out to facebook friends and the like. People loves getting photos of flowers!

Marigolds yes on the first plant! You win that prize Rick :)
4 O'clocks No on the second plant. HINT: This plant is native to South America, from Brazil West to Peru, and South to Southern Argentina. 2nd hint: The small white thing toward the right hand side is the actual flower, not the pink part.

Here is a shot taken today showing the whole plant. Not bad for a potted plant! Anyway, maybe this will give y'all further hints as to the identity of this plant.
