---- Life is good ----
My first observed migrant just breached the yard.
A female American RedStart is taking a bath in my branch.

Great photos and a very nice treat to see the Redstarts! We don't see them very often. I remember when I first saw a male on one of our hikes, we did not know what it was and someone said it looks like a Baltimore Oriole because of the colors. Of course the Orioles are not in our range.

Are you sure?

Tried to do a quick look, but not possible as I have over 22,000 digital photos.:STOP
When I hit the Lotto will hire some teen to catalog them for me.
I take a lot, delete most, still end up with some.

I do see this from 2005 taken with my old point and shoot camera here in the yard.
I would guess it to be an Orchard Oriole.

Baltimore:

I stand corrected.... It is mostly rare but is found as far south as North Georgia. I don't think I have seen one. The maps make it look common but??? Hope you see one in migration.

On the porch and see nothing migrating by.
I have maybe 5 Hummers left.
My yard is full of Cardinals. They seem to do really well here.
